Terrorists Have Wrong Interpretation of Quran Verses: Egypt Mufti
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Egypt’s grand Mufti said terrorists have wrong interpretations of the verses of the Quran.
Speaking in a Radio program, Shawki Ibrahim Abdel-Karim Allam said extremist groups and terrorists do not follow the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in interpreting the Holy Book, Egypt Today reported.
He said they claim to be the only ones who understand Islam and implement its teachings.
They assert that they are Muslims and consider all others to be non-Muslim while they do not understand Nusus (textual commands) and do not act upon them, Allam added.
He underlined that following the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and understanding Nusus are necessary in interpreting the Quran.
